the small town vibe it gives off. Growing up in a decently populated place and just 20 minutes from the major city of Tacoma, I craved the feeling of a smaller place to call my home while I was in college. Ellensburg is perfect for this because it's big enough for a Fred Meyer, but small enough that you can't help but feel the love for one another in this town.
the constant interactions I have with wonderful people on a daily basis. With every experience, I get to meet alike and different individuals and families who make being an ambassador so worthwhile. Every person I meet is different from the previous ones and it really makes for a great experience and conversation every time.
is Jodi Musser! Not only do I get to work with her as my Academic Advisor, but she is also the professor for the majority of the classes within my major. Just like most professors at CWU, Mrs. Musser is willing to go above and beyond for her students to help us achieve ultimate success both in and out of the classroom. She makes it easy to come to class everyday and be ready to learn, regardless of what time it is.
I have always wanted to go into education and Central has an excellent education program. Additionally, Central had just the right size student population for my comfort zone and allowed me access to small class sizes. I also loved the sense of home I felt on my first tour and decided that this was ultimately the best place for me.
