Tour Guide at Central Washington University
Class of 2020
Hometown: Yelm, WA
Major: Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising
Minor: French and Spanish
My favorite thing about Ellensburg is that everything is within walking distance. Also, since the town is small, I always see people I know, which is exciting!
My favorite class was Anthropology 130 (Cultural Anthropology) taught by Hope Amason. It was my favorite class because I loved learning about different cultures from around the world and Hope made the class interesting. After taking that class, I felt like it gave me a different perspective about the world and everyone in it!
I chose Central because I felt at home and welcomed. When I got here, everyone I met was super kind and friendly, which I loved!
My favorite part of being an ambassador is getting to meet new people and sharing my favorite memories of Central!
