My favorite thing about Ellensberg is the way it looks in the fall with all the leafs taking on orange and yellow colors. The wind will pick up the leafs and make little leaf tornadoes that are fun to play in and watch.
This is really cheesy but I chose central because it felt a bit like coming home when I stepped onto the campus. Having a strong outdoor atmosphere is important to me because of my love of nature and Central provides the outdoors in abundance. I just really feel like I fit in my own skin on this campus and that is what pushed my decision to attend Central.
I have two favorite General Education classes that I would take again. RELS 101 - World Religions, The class was super interesting and eye opening. Lily Voung was a great proffessor and always kept the class interesting. My other favorite is LAJ 102 - Intro to Law and Justice, R. Shaffer Claridge is a great professor. He really cares about the information he is presenting and connects the subject to real life with fun stories and examples.
My favorite part about being an Ambassador is the opportunity to interact with new people almost everyday. Giving tours is always really fun and I love helping people find answers to their questions and sharing my college experience.
